Tipping Point, is an eleven episode web series about two jaded waitresses working in NYC. In each episode, Sophie, (Sophia Strawser) and Carma, (Carma Hauge) face trials such as annoying customers, working at a restaurant while on a diet, a fire scare, a celebrity sighting and so much more. Inspired by Strawser’s own time waitressing in Hell’s Kitchen, the show works to reveal the inner judgements and complaints that most NYC servers have.

Sophia Strawser, writer and star of Tipping Point, is an NYC based comedian and screenwriter. She started Tipping Point two years as a few scripts that quickly began filming six months later. It’s second season has just released. Strawser does stand up comedy and improv around the city at UCB, Gotham Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club as well as others. She was just a artist in resident at Chateau Orquevaux in France and had her short placy “Dating in New York” in multiple festivals around the city. She studied T.V. and Film writing as well as Vocal Performance at Hofstra University after which she got her Masters in Opera Performance from Rutgers University.
